Cherry-Almond Jumbles

1 recipe Basic Sugar Cookie Dough, room temperature

1 c. dried cherries

1 c. sliced almonds

1. Mix cherries and almonds into sugar cookie dough.
2. Drop tablespoon-sized mounds onto baking sheets.
3. Bake at 350 until the cookies begin to brown (14-20 min).
